Come paint your own Holiday Greeting Cards led by Artist Gene Bertram while you sip some crafted beverages! Personalized hand painted cards are a thoughtful gift or special pieces of your own art work to showcase in any space around the holidays!
This will be a 2 hour painting lesson where the artist will lead you through the steps to create up to 6 greeting cards using two different scenes. There is also opportunity to harness your own creativity and imagination for your cards and ask for help with your technique! This class will be best suited for students 16 years and up but all ages and skill levels are welcome.
The cost is $50/person and includes:

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Gene Bertram is a local retired art teacher and working artist. He works out of his studio "Bertram Seaside Studios" on Lake Superior, also teaching group and private lessons from his studio. He also provides senior arts lessons at Peter White Public Library, lead art workshops for all ages during Marquette's Art Week. His art was chosen for the cover of the Art Week Brochure in 2023 and he was honored with the Arts Educator of the Year award in 2023. Recently, Gene's art was displayed throughout last summer at the Marquette City Hall, at the Wintergreen Gallery, and the Marquette County Courthouse and other local businesses.
