After nearly nine incredible years, we've made the difficult decision to close our doors.

When we started this journey, our goal was simple: brew world-class beer with exceptional ingredients and breathe new life into a beloved Marquette landmark. Thanks to all of you, it became so much more. We collaborated with partners and vendors, most from right here in Michigan, to create beers we're incredibly proud of. Along the way, we hosted celebrations, showers, first dates, weddings, reunions, and countless conversations over a glass. We watched friendships form and families grow—ours included.

We are incredibly proud of what we built, and so thankful to everyone who made Barrel + Beam part of their lives. We are grateful to every customer who supported us, our past and present employees whose hard work made it all possible, and our family and friends who stood by us every step of the way. Barrel + Beam would not have existed without you.

Like many small businesses, we've faced challenges from rising costs, inflation, tariffs, and an increasingly difficult economic environment. While those factors played a role, our decision ultimately came down to family. After much reflection, we've came to realize the sacrifices required to continue were no longer sustainable.

Thank you for supporting local, believing in our vision, and helping make Barrel + Beam something truly special.
